1. What is the best way to mount my 4x4 water tank?

Each tank is designed for specific mounting locations. Wheel arch tanks fit over wheel wells, roof rack tanks mount flat on your roof rack, vertical and tapered tanks are ideal for tight spaces like behind seats or in cargo areas, and standard tanks can be mounted in various positions based on your setup. Always ensure the tank is securely fastened to prevent movement during travel.

2. Are these water tanks safe for drinking water?

Yes! All Ironman 4x4 water tanks are made from food-grade UV-stabilised polyethylene, ensuring your water remains clean, safe, and taste-free, even in harsh conditions.

3. Do these tanks come with fittings for installation?

Each tank features a recessed barbed outlet for easy hose attachment. However, additional fittings and mounting hardware may be required depending on your setup. Contact us for fitting recommendations.

4. Can I install a tap or hose attachment on these tanks?

Yes, some models—such as the 60L Water Tank—already include a tap outlet. For other tanks, a hose can be connected to the barbed outlet. If you need additional fittings, give us a call, and we can advise on the best setup.
